JOB DESCRIPTION
Our
Atlanta-based client has an immediate need for an Data Warehouse/Business
Intelligence Technical Architect experienced in defining the hardware/software
architecture for a 1 to 2 terabyte analysis services cube. The client is
embarking on a major effort to create a data warehouse based on existing
inventory data.

REQUIRED SKILLS
& EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have the
following combination of skills and experience:
-
5 to 7 years experience with
DTS, SSIS with OLAP Client Manager.

Deep skills in troubleshooting
analysis services design and performance issues.

Possess working knowledge of
analysis services tools used to troubleshoot analysis
-
services.
-
Have excellent working
knowledge of analysis services infrastructure setup. (Experience as a SQL
Server architect or Business Intelligence network guru).

Have a solid understanding of
clustering in a SQL Server environment and SAN storage design

COMPENSATION &
BENEFITS
This is a contract position with the possibility of a
permanent hire offer at some future date. Work will take place at the clients corporate offices in . The pay
rate will be based on the candidates skill level and and years of experience. W2 or 1099 employment arrangements
will be considered and candidates must have either US Citizenship or possess
a valid Green Card. At this time our client is unable to entertain candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
