Scotland tourism- A grand journey

Scotland, a part of United Kingdom, occupying northern island of Great Britain and is differentiated from England by North Sea. Most of the visitors to travel Scotland are inspired by a search for their family history, the lure of visiting the birthplace of golf, Harry Potter scenery up close and personal or searching the springs that produce what locals call the water of life… Scotch whiskey.

Every sight and monument has a rich history weaving around and that's the source of Scottish visitor interest and attractions. Scotland is replete with acres of lush greenery to miles of frayed coastline to mountain ranges which serve as a picturesque backdrop to the wide expanse of lakes, historic castles and magnificent churches. All the resources made Scotland a wonderful holiday destination.

Nowhere is this more evident than in its capital, Edinburgh, where lively pubs, swinging night life and cutting edge art festivals vie for attention with its Royal Mile. For art and architecture lovers, Glasgow conquers the popularity for its awesome Gothic cathedral. All these made Scotland tourism a huge revenue generator.

Scotland has a modern and efficient road, rail and ferry network which allows easy access to almost all parts of the country. It is a real pleasure to travel Scotland by plane, train or automobile.
