Welcomed into Great Lodgings, and Prompted into Family History Research through…Glasgow Classifieds!
My colleague was planning a trip to Glasgow and looked in the Glasgow classifieds for a place to stay. She was really happy with what she found…and I was even happier with what she found for me while she was there. She had gone for a family matter and while talking with the person from whom she had rented her temporary lodging, that person happened to suggest doing some research about her family history. She used various sources and is now off to good start. Amazingly, by sheer coincidence, she also found out something about my family. As much as our lives seem random, sometimes there are events that are really uncanny. I mean if she hadn't rented from that particular person, she may not have gotten the idea to start looking up her family, and thereby stumble onto something about my own! Needless to say, we were both really happy she had turned to the classifieds!
